Trades and Fake Cards

Trades

You are allowed to trade cards while at the league.

Some leagues choose to restrict when and how you may trade.  Right now, I do not plan to institute restrictions on trading, but if problems arise, I may create rules in the future.

We must all strive to make sure that Pokemon at the Mills is a safe, fun, and fair environment.  If you are unsure how fair a trade is, the New Dimension staff and myself will be happy to review it and offer advice.

YOU MAY NOT BUY OR SELL CARDS WITH OTHER PLAYERS.  This is a rule instated by New Dimension Comics.  The store offers preconstructed decks, booster backs, individual cards, and game accessories that you may purchase directly from them.

Fake/Counterfeit Cards

Any games played with fake or counterfeit cards will NOT be eligible to earn stamps or prizes.

Pokemon TCG works to ensure the card game is fair for players and traders.  Fake and counterfeit cards do not respect the balance of the game and are illegal to produce due to copyright and forgery laws.

THE BEST WAY TO ENSURE YOUR CARDS ARE REAL ARE BY BUYING THEM FROM SEALED DECKS AND BOOSTERS.

Many players make the mistake of buying their cards from unreputable vendors such as flea markets and yard sales.  Doing this is risky, and there is a chance you will get ripped off.

If you are concerned that a card you have or are trading for is fake or counterfeit, please have a New Dimension staff member or me take a look at it.  Most counterfeit cards have telltale signs that they are not real.
